Welcome to a unique collection of public history representations which highlight Latino Communities throughout Southern California. Each section discusses a unique public history presentation from a different perspective. “Rancho Guajome Adobe” provides a short synposis of the “experience” you can expect at this historical landmark. “Fiesta Old Town Cinco de Mayo” is a “critique” of the event as a public history presentation. “Chicana Activism: Jessie de la Cruz” provides research on a Latina that is often left out of Southern California’s public history and the “Concept” portion of this site is my idea for how we might increase the public’s knowledge of her.
